FAQ
Quick answers about gameplay, support, updates, privacy, and how to use Kayt smoothly on game night.
What is Kayt?
Kayt is a local party game app for playing together on one phone. Right now it includes Imposter, Alias, Truth or Dare, and Never Have I Ever.
Does Kayt work offline?
Yes. The games are designed for local play on a single device. Internet is mainly useful for app updates or contacting support.
How many players does each game support?
Imposter supports 4-10 players. Alias works well with 4 or more players. Truth or Dare and Never Have I Ever support 2-12 players.
How do I read the rules for each game?
On the home screen, each playable game card has a small i icon. Tap that icon to open the rules for that game before you start.
What should I do if the app freezes or crashes?
Close and reopen the app first. If the issue keeps happening, use the contact form and include your device model, OS version, app version, game mode, and the steps that led to the problem.
How do updates work?
Kayt can deliver updates directly inside the app. When a new version is ready, you will see an update banner on the home screen.
What data does Kayt store?
Kayt stores preferences and local game state on your device. We also collect limited analytics to understand app usage and stability. You can read more on the privacy policy page.
How do I report a bug, translation issue, or game idea?
Use the Contact Us form on this support site or inside the app and include as much detail as you can.
Where can I follow Kayt?
